Scott is a product management strategist and trailblazer with a record of scaling products across content, commerce, healthtech, and Web3.
His work has contributed to startup and exit outcomes in the tens and hundreds of millions of dollars, as well as several approved patents. His primary roles have involved leading multiple product teams, including design, UX, development, and managing distributed teams across the U.S. and internationally.

I’ve spent more than three decades building digital products; from early online service pioneer Prodigy in the mid-nineties and the founding team era of About.com. (About has since sold, re-sold and renamed several times.) After that, I've been both an individual contributor and senior leader from startups to Fortune 500 companies across content, community, commerce, healthtech, and AI/Web3. Along the way I’ve co-founded or led product at companies that reached successful exits and a couple that flamed out spectacularly. Both have lessons.
I've led product, design, and development teams along with their P&Ls locally and globally, picked up ten issued U.S. patents, and packaged what I’ve learned into a digital product management course and various writings. The through-line: the right product or service, for the right people, at the right time, in the right context.

These may not be strictly work related in their missions. However, they serve to give some idea of how I like to explore technology. For example, my ACL Support site integrates an AI/LLM with a RAG pipeline based on my own writing. The Sarcasm without Borders was intended as a joke throwaway while defining an AI site builder workflow. But it came out amusing enough - to me - that I just decided to keep it.
I built ACLsupport.com as a volunteer effort after suffering an ACL injury while playing ice hockey. What began as research for my own injury became an effort to make useful information easier to find for others dealing with ACL injuries and recovery.
I built Sarcasm Without Borders as an intentionally unserious site for a more serious experiment: seeing how far I could take an AI-assisted website from idea through an actual end-to-end production workflow. The joke needed to be harmless but real — a place to make early mistakes where failure costs essentially nothing, before pointing the same pipeline at work that matters.
While GitHub is generally thought of as a developer / engineering type venue for code storage, I've found it useful for building or storing some of my own projects or digital toys. Here you can find some projects I built for myself or part of client work that are shareable or were done to support a LinkedIn article or similar. Here's a selection:

I heard once that one of the best ways to try to learn somethnig is to try to teach it. I think I heard it from watching a lecture by physicist Richard Feynman, however apparently it traces back to ancient Roman philosopher Seneca the Younger.
In any case, I like to write about things I've learned and most of that ends up in my LinkedIn Articles section.
